Solar Team Eindhoven

Solar Team Eindhoven will participate in the World Solar Challenge every two years. This is THE challenge for solar mobility pioneers. Our latest model is Stella Vie, a solar powered family car for 5 persons. It is the most efficient family car ever built. In October we will defend our world title in Australia.
Last year, Solar Team Eindhoven designed ‘Stella Lux’, the erergy positive family car, and won the Cruiser Class of the World Solar Challenge 2015.
Our cars are built by a team consisting of 21 top students of the Eindhoven University of Technology. Winning the World Solar Challenge is one of the goals, but not our main goal: our mission is to contribute to a sustainable future. We want to realize an innovative car which is ready for the market of tomorrow.
