The Abel Tasman is a luxurious two mast schooner, 40 metres in length. Due to the generous division of the living quarters you always feel comfortable on board and you can find plenty of nice quiet spots on the ship to enjoy your stay. If you are rather looking for a cheerful get-together there are numerous possibilities inside as well as outside on deck or in the wheelhouse.

On day trips up to 60 people are able to sail with us. Especially on deck there are many seating opportunities.

The lounge has big windows, so even in not very good weather you always have the feeling of being in the centre of the happening. Inside there are all in all 32 seats in four comfortable corner booths, which are set around four big tables. The well-assorted ship's bar with draught beer is also located in this room.

In rainy weather you are directly involved with the navigation whilst sheltering in the large wheelhouse. As well as from the wheelhouse it is possible to steer the ship from the quarterdeck.

For multi-day trips the ship holds altogether 31 bunks, which are arranged in twelve cabins.

All of the cabins can be heated and are equipped with a shower and a sink, each with running cold and warm water. Seven cabins are equipped with a double and a single bed. The other five cabins have bunk beds.

The galley, which is also in the hulk of the ship, is professionally equipped with a gas cooker with six flames, a dishwasher, a hot air fan oven, two fridges and a freezer.
